2011 in Review

2011 was a great year for Halo Group. We are very lucky to have so many great Technical Consultants doing important work everyday for clients. Our experienced delivery team continues to grow relationships each day. I just reviewed our most recent statistics and we are running at over 50% interview-to-placement right now (meaning that clients hire 1 of every 2 HG consultants they interview). This is indicative of several things; first our Sr. Account Managers are doing a great job building relationships with clients and understanding their needs. Second, our Sr. Recruiters are building trusted long-term relationships with candidates. And finally, the Technical Consultants we present are high-quality technicians and people. This is just what clients expect when they engage us—great work all the way around.

Halo Group revenues in 2011 grew substantially, while we added several marquee clients in each office. Growth was split equally between permanent hire and contract staffing as we continue to see many clients adding technical bandwidth as they struggle to get projects done. We believe our growth will continue in 2012 given the slowly recovering economy, our investments in Atlanta and Dallas, and several new clients brought onboard last year.

Halo Group believes that in today’s business world, communication tools such as Email, Texting, IM, and social media leave much to be desired. Are they effective? Of course, we do thousands of them! But to be our best and provide the highest levels of service we get B2B (belly-to-belly) with candidates, employees, and clients whenever possible.

Getting B2B fosters richer, high quality communication and understanding. This richness is driven from body language and common understanding that is difficult find in an email or text. It’s a fact that our recruiters do a better job understanding candidate perspectives after meeting with them person. Likewise, there is no doubt that we understand the needs of our clients on a different level after getting B2B and engaging in meaningful dialogue. And isn’t REAL human interaction what makes life and our jobs, more interesting and more fun? We think so. We like people, and we’re in the people business. So get B2B with us, hopefully we’ll all have fun and be more successful along the way.

One of our core beliefs at Halo Group is that relationships matter. Thats why we take the time to invest in buiding bonds with our clients, employees and candidates each and every day.

Our work is very personal. Employees and candidates rely on us to assist them with something very precious- their careers. We treat people the way we would like to be treated if we were in their shoes. Sometimes this means that Halo Group is the right choice, sometimes it may mean that we are not the right vehicle for a given consultant or client. Whatever the case, we’re here for the long haul, building lasting relationships today that will lead to a brighter future.

Clients who work with Halo Group want to feel comfortable that we will be there for them through the good and the bad. We take the time to know them personally and likewise they get to know us. Mutual understanding allows us to always focus on what is good for all of us in the long run. Mr. Brockman knows the Atlanta IT Services market extremely well and has an outstanding track record in both sales and operations. 2008 in Review

WOW! Unless you are 80 years old, 2008 was probably the worst economic year you have ever seen. Detroit was hit even harder, bringing iconic companies like GM and Chrysler to the brink of bankruptcy. Halo Group was certainly not immune to these events as revenues were down slightly for 2008. As a company we made some very tough decisions which included reducing staff and cutting costs to ensure that the organization remains healthy for the future.

On a more positive note, Halo Group ended the year with 43 active clients. This is an impressive and amazing testament to our hard-working associates. Client diversity means stability for the company as well as a variety of assignments for candidates and consultants. Our largest client in 2008 represented less than 10% of revenue with our average client only making up 2.3% of revenue. Given this broad client base, we believe the company is positioned to grow in all markets.

Every week we hear from clients and potential clients that the market for value-added IT services remains strong. We believe that our dual strategy for growth and diversification through continued new business development and geographic expansion is the right long-term strategy to capitalize on this market opportunity. We will continue to manage the company conservatively, while making necessary investments that we believe will pay off for our employees, clients and Halo Group in the future.
